Hello!
I'm sorry about the delay in this post. Things here have been very busy trying to get ready. I'm still riddled with jet lag and I only bought thirty minutes of wireless connetion! The plane rides were....long. One 7 and a half and an 8 and a half ride. We stopped in Paris for about two hours. We flew right over Iraq. I thought for a moment of the war. We were cruising at about 6 miles above the country side. That's the closest that I've ever been to a war zone...
Delhi is huge. over 11 million people. That's over twice the size of norway! People use the horns of their cars without remorse. The food is incredible. Very good, but also very spicy. I'm still getting used to it. Today we visited the SIT Delhi Arts and Culture program house. I met up with a girl Julie who is doing that program and goes to Saint Michael's with me. That was great to see a familiar face. I've made lots of friends in the group already. Tomorrow we take an overnight train at 9:30 to Dharamasala- at the foot of the Himalayas!!
See You Soon!

Night trains are awesome! Have fun (and watch your stuff)!
Glad to hear the flight went well and that you are making some new friends. Hope to see some pics soon. Keep on blogging!
Love,
Mom
Robbie,
It is pretty awesome to see that you got to post something. Hope all is well. Wish you luck and can't wait to see you when you get back.
Congratulation "ye world traveler you!"
Keeping the journal and photos will help you remember this extraordinary experience. Wish I had done that when I was a youth. When you get to be a old fart like me, it's hard to remember what you had for breakfast!
To taste or enjoy the pleasures of youth to the full, to revel in the pleasures of youth:--joban-mat, m. (joban-matī, f.) ~ Hope I got that right...

Hey Rob,
I wonder how different the train ride was there than it would be here or in Europe. I had a very good friend at St. A's that grew up in India. He taught us so much about his country. It will be fun learning more about it through your blog. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to set up a map here at the Canarie household so we can see where you are. Good luck!
Rob, good luck stay safe and keep blogging so your Mom knows you are
safe.
YA YA Deb
